- 1982: Sacramento Water Polo was founded by Bruce Hastie who continues as the Program Director and Head Coach.
- 2008: Expanded to Sierra College beginning with a "Winter Session". Sierra College is now considered the "home location" with additional practice sites at the El Dorado Hills CSD, Del Oro High School, and Jesuit High School.
- 2010: Sacramento Water Polo formally split into an LLC, for general program operations, while maintaining 501c3 non-profit corporation status for fundraising, assisting at-risk athletes, etc. Our 501c3 non-profit foundation accepts tax deductable donations that help support athletes participating in the program.
- Sacramento Water Polo always welcomes new athletes! Come to a practice and watch, meet the coaching staff, get in the water and participate in a couple of workouts. No obligation.
- Sacramento Water Polo covers four counties and has well over 200 athletes representing over 30 different schools.
- Sacramento Water Polo is a year-round training program.
