In support of the Sacramento Water Polo mission statement, fundraising is done to provide a source of funding that directly benefits the athletes involved in the program. Profits are invested back in to the program to help offset tournament registration fees, offer scholarships to athletes, and be spent in areas that the board has determined best serves the overall program.
The Sacramento Water Polo Club operates as a non-stock, non-profit, 501(c) (3) public benefit corporation. It is organized under the Non-profit Public Benefit Corporation Law for public purposes and is not organized for the benefit of any person. This corporation is organized exclusively for the purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 or the corresponding provision of any future United States Internal Revenue Law.
